Save the Date: Integrated Sciences Graduation/End of Year Party, 5PM, 06/08

Please mark your calendars for the Integrated Sciences Graduation/End of Year Party, which will be held from 5:00-6:30PM on Thurs., 06/08 in the Quaternary Resource Center Library, Johnson Hall, room 377A.  This event is open to current and former Integrated Sciences students (and their guests), faculty, staff, and friends of the Integrated Sciences Program.

Cake and light refreshments will be served.

Graduate and celebrate all of you!

Lavender Grad is open to any student eligible, at any level (undergrad or graduate/professional) for a graduation in the 2014​-2015 ​(including fall 201​5​) academic year. The Q Center and QSC host Lavender Graduation as a time for the UW queer, trans*, two-spirit, same gender loving, and allied communities to come together and celebrate our multiple identities, our accomplishments, and sheer AWESOMENESS. You do not have to be graduating or be of a certain sexual or gender identity/orientation/expression to participate​in ​and/or attend the Lavender Graduation year-end-​communities ​celebration. Everyone is welcome and wanted!!!

Where: THE UW TOWER, Mezzanine Level Cafeteria (Brooklyn Avenue is closed in front of Tower, please make parking arrangements ​in the UW Tower lot ($15 for special graduation day pass), ​on the street, on campus, or in the Hotel Deca parking lot. 2015 Commencement Ceremony Information

  1. Eligibility:

Bachelor Candidates:  Students who earned a degree in Summer 2014, Autumn 2014, or Winter 2015, or have applied to graduate with a departmental advisor for Spring 2015 or Summer 2015 are eligible. Once the application for graduation has been completed and received by the Office of Graduation and Academic Records (206-543-1803), the student will be eligible to complete the Commencement Registration/Order Form.

Names Listed in Program:  The Commencement program lists the names of graduates from Summer 2014 through Spring 2015.  Note: Spring 2015 Bachelor’s Degree candidates must have their Application to Graduate submitted and received by the Office of Graduation and Academic Records by the April17th deadline in order to have their names listed. Summer 2015 graduates’ names will be listed in the following year’s program.  Students who do not wish to have their names listed in the program must contact the Office of the Registrar (206-543-5378).

Honors: If you qualify for College, Departmental, or Interdisciplinary Honors, please be sure your DARS accurately reflects this status by April 17, 2015. If you have questions, see the Honors Program (211 Mary Gates Hall, uwhonors@uw.edu, 206-543-7444).

Event: International Student Services Final Year Workshop for International Students (11/04/14)

The International Student Services (ISS) Office is offering a new workshop this Autumn for F-1 international students who are in the final year of their degree programs. Students will learn important information on maintaining their F-1 status in regards to enrollment, graduation, employment, travel and more! Guest speakers from the Counseling Center, Career Center, and Registrar’s Office will come talk about the next steps and expectations after graduation for students. We highly encourage graduating students to attend the Final Year Workshop to get information on how to smoothly transition from the UW.

Final Year Workshop for F-1 International Students
Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2:30-4:00pm

Please check in first with the ISS Office in Schmitz Hall Room 459 at least 5 minutes prior to the workshop. Space is limited! Sign up will start at 2:00pm on the day of the workshop.
