Volunteer Opportunity: Tinker Tank Facilitator – Pacific Science Center

Pacific Science Center LogoMy name is Emily O’Hare—I am the Volunteer Programs Intern at Pacific Science Center. I wanted to get in contact with you about our fantastic opportunity! We have a volunteer opportunity called Tinker Tank, which I think is an excellent fit for anyone who loves Science, teaching, engineering, STEM, or anyone who is interested in the program!

A Tinker Tank Facilitator is a role that is integral to a positive guest experience here at Pacific Science Center. Tinker Tank Facilitators help engage with guests in our hands-on design space! It is a space for guests to explore and experiment with aerodynamics, gravity walls, cardboard amusement parks, Keva blocks, electrical circuits, and much, much more! The activities are constantly changing, so there’s always something new to explore!

Does this sound like an opportunity that sounds absolutely amazing to you? If so, I would love to see your application and meet you! In this email I have attached a flyer and description of the position for you to share with your friends, family, community members, anyone else you think would love this opportunity and would like to volunteer with you!

Please feel free to give my contact information to anyone who may be interested, I can best be reached through email at eohare@pacsci.org.
