There is an exciting opening for a Study Skills Instructor with the University of Washington Upward Bound program. Upward Bound is a federally-funded program designed to empower potentially first generation college students and students from low-income families to graduate from high school, enroll in college, and earn college degrees. The program seeks an individual with a strong math and teaching background who has a passion for programs designed to provide services for underserved students. Primary responsibilities include teaching and tutoring high school math subjects from algebra 1 through calculus, developing and delivering SAT preparation curriculum, and managing a student caseload.
